Beyond bed size, height plays an important role. Lower bed frames tend to feel more inviting and open, whereas higher and bigger bed frames are more of a standout piece.
Materials used: Depending on your style and your space, one of the three materials that dominate the market will best suit you: timber, upholstery or metal. Check what your frame is specifically made from and try to opt for higher grade materials.
Storage space: Whether it’s under the bed or behind the bed head, storage space is a great addition to have, especially for those with smaller bedrooms.
